This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the use of the social network WAPI.LT (hereinafter – WAPI.LT or the Platform) and the terms for processing users’ personal data. By registering on and using WAPI.LT, the user confirms that they have read this Privacy Policy, understand it, and agree to its terms.
1.1. A user who registers on WAPI.LT and uses the services provided by the Platform automatically agrees to all provisions of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
1.2. If the user does not agree with any of these provisions, they are not entitled to use WAPI.LT.
2.1. Users must behave responsibly on WAPI.LT and treat other users with respect.
2.2. It is prohibited to post:
offensive, discriminatory, obscene, or pornographic material;
material promoting violence, hatred, or other human rights violations;
content that violates applicable law or the rules of WAPI.LT.
3.1. The user undertakes to respect the rights and freedoms of other users, not to insult, defame, or otherwise violate their honour and dignity.
3.2. The user is prohibited from using WAPI.LT for harassment, threats, unlawful collection of information, or any other illegal actions.
4.1. The user bears full responsibility for any information and content that they post on WAPI.LT.
4.2. The user must ensure that the content they post:
does not infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights;
complies with applicable laws, this Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Use;
does not violate the rights or legitimate interests of third parties.
5.1. Users must respect copyright and may not publish materials belonging to third parties without their written or clearly expressed consent.
5.2. The user is prohibited from using, copying, distributing, or otherwise exploiting materials that violate copyright.
5.3. The user who has posted unlawful content is solely responsible for any copyright infringement.
6.1. It is prohibited to post unwanted advertising or spam on WAPI.LT.
6.2. Commercial advertising may be permitted only under conditions set by the WAPI.LT administration and with prior approval.
6.3. The user is prohibited from sending unwanted advertising messages or mass mailings to other users via WAPI.LT.
7.1. It is prohibited to post on WAPI.LT any materials that may disrupt or damage the operation of the Platform, including but not limited to:
viruses;
malware or other harmful components;
links to websites that distribute such harmful materials.
8.1. WAPI.LT undertakes to protect the confidentiality of users’ personal data and to use such data only for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
8.2. WAPI.LT undertakes not to transfer users’ personal data to third parties without the user’s consent, except in cases provided for by law.
8.3. The user must keep their login data (username, password) confidential and not disclose them to third parties.
8.4. It is prohibited to collect, store, or otherwise use other users’ personal data without their consent.
9.1. The user has the right at any time to request that their personal data and/or account be deleted from WAPI.LT, provided that this does not conflict with applicable legal requirements.
9.2. Upon receiving such a request from the user, WAPI.LT deletes the user’s data within a reasonable period, to the extent permitted by applicable legislation and technical capabilities.
10.1. WAPI.LT is not liable for any damage that may be caused to users or third parties as a result of:
information and content provided or posted by a user;
inaccurate, misleading, or illegal content posted by users;
improper or unlawful use of WAPI.LT.
10.2. WAPI.LT is not liable for technical failures that temporarily make the Platform unavailable or cause it to function improperly, nor for any loss of data resulting from such failures, except where otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions.
11.1. WAPI.LT reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice to users, to amend the provisions of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
11.2. The updated version of the Privacy Policy enters into force from the moment it is published on WAPI.LT, unless stated otherwise.
11.3. The user must periodically review the current version of the Privacy Policy. By continuing to use WAPI.LT after changes have been published, the user confirms their agreement with the new version of the Privacy Policy.
