Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter – the Terms) govern the use of the online platform WAPI.LT (hereinafter – WAPI.LT or the Platform). By using WAPI.LT, the user confirms that they have read these Terms, understood them, and agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you are not entitled to use WAPI.LT.


1. General Provisions

1.1. WAPI.LT is an online platform / social network where users can create accounts, post information, communicate, and use other available features.
1.2. These Terms are binding on all users of WAPI.LT, regardless of whether they are registered or use only publicly available parts of the Platform.
1.3. Together with these Terms, the WAPI.LT Privacy Policy applies, which sets out the rules for processing personal data.


2. Definitions

2.1. User – any natural or legal person who visits WAPI.LT and/or has created an account on the Platform.
2.2. Account – the result of a user’s registration on WAPI.LT, which allows access to additional functions of the Platform.
2.3. Content – any information posted by a user or by WAPI.LT: text, photos, videos, links, comments, and similar materials.
2.4. Administrator / WAPI.LT Administration – the person or persons managing and administering WAPI.LT.


3. Registration and Account

3.1. To use all functions of WAPI.LT, the user may be required to register and create an account.
3.2. When registering, the user must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information.
3.3. The user is responsible for the security and confidentiality of their login details (username and password).
3.4. The user is prohibited from transferring their account or login details to third parties.
3.5. If the user becomes aware that their login details may have become known to third parties, they must immediately inform the WAPI.LT Administration.


4. User Rights and Obligations

4.1. The user has the right to:

  • use the features of WAPI.LT in accordance with these Terms and applicable law;

  • create and manage their account;

  • publish content that complies with applicable law and these Terms;

  • contact the WAPI.LT Administration regarding identified violations or technical issues.

4.2. The user undertakes to:

  • comply with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and/or applicable international legal acts;

  • comply with these Terms and the WAPI.LT Privacy Policy;

  • respect other users and their rights;

  • not misuse the functions of the Platform and not attempt to disrupt its operation.


5. Prohibited Activities and Content

5.1. The user is prohibited on WAPI.LT from:

  • publishing offensive, discriminatory content or content promoting hatred, violence, or pornography;

  • posting content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights;

  • publishing illegal, misleading, defamatory, or knowingly false information;

  • uploading or distributing viruses, malware, links to malicious websites, or otherwise disrupting the operation of the Platform;

  • engaging in any activity that may be considered fraud, unlawful data collection, or a violation of third-party rights;

  • sending unsolicited advertising or spam to other users.

5.2. The WAPI.LT Administration has the right, at its own discretion, to remove any user content that, in its opinion, violates these Terms, applicable law, or is otherwise inappropriate.


6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1. By posting content on WAPI.LT, the user confirms that they have all necessary rights (copyrights, licences, consents) to use and publicly share such content.
6.2. The user retains their copyright to the content; however, they grant WAPI.LT a non-exclusive, territory- and time-unlimited right to use this content for the purposes of ensuring the operation of the Platform (to display, store, technically process, etc.).
6.3. Without the prior consent of the WAPI.LT Administration, it is prohibited to:

  • copy, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use the design of WAPI.LT, its logos, source code, or any other intellectual property belonging to the Platform;

  • use the name or marks of WAPI.LT in a manner that may mislead or create the impression of official representation.


7. Personal Data and Privacy

7.1. The rules for processing users’ personal data are set out in a separate WAPI.LT Privacy Policy.
7.2. By using WAPI.LT, the user confirms that they have read and agree to the Privacy Policy.
7.3. The user is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the personal data provided in their account.


8. Rights and Obligations of WAPI.LT

8.1. WAPI.LT has the right to:

  • modify, restrict, or discontinue certain functions of the Platform;

  • temporarily or permanently block a user’s account if the user violates these Terms or applicable law;

  • remove user content that is considered illegal, inappropriate, or infringing the rights of other persons;

  • perform technical maintenance during which WAPI.LT may be temporarily unavailable or operate with limited functionality.

8.2. WAPI.LT undertakes to:

  • use reasonable efforts to ensure the operation of the Platform;

  • take reasonable measures to protect users’ data and prevent unauthorised access (to the extent allowed by technical and organisational capabilities).


9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. WAPI.LT is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of information provided or publicly posted by users. Responsibility for content lies solely with the user who posted it.
9.2. WAPI.LT is not liable for any damage or loss arising from:

  • malfunctions of the Platform, technical errors, or periods of temporary unavailability;

  • actions or omissions of the user in using WAPI.LT;

  • actions or omissions of third parties.
    9.3. WAPI.LT is not responsible for links to third-party websites or for the content or services provided on such websites. The user visits such websites at their own risk.


10. Termination and Deletion of Account

10.1. The user may at any time stop using WAPI.LT and/or delete their account, if such functionality is available, or contact the WAPI.LT Administration with a request to delete their account.
10.2. WAPI.LT has the right, without prior notice, to restrict or delete a user’s account if:

  • the user violates these Terms or applicable law;

  • the user’s actions pose a threat to WAPI.LT, other users, or third parties;

  • required by law or by competent authorities.
    10.3. Deletion of the account does not release the user from responsibility for violations committed prior to deletion (including liability for illegal content previously posted).


11. Amendments to the Terms

11.1. WAPI.LT has the right to unilaterally amend these Terms.
11.2. The updated Terms enter into force on the date of their publication on WAPI.LT, unless stated otherwise.
11.3. The user must periodically review the current version of the Terms and keep track of any changes.
11.4. By continuing to use WAPI.LT after the publication of changes, the user confirms their agreement with the updated version of the Terms.


12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania, unless expressly stated otherwise.
12.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of WAPI.LT shall first be resolved through negotiations.
12.3. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to a competent court of the Republic of Lithuania at the location of the WAPI.LT administrator, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
